Horror flick The Wretched was added to the service on Sunday (July 31) and has already shot to No. 5 in its Top 10 Movies list. And if the name sounds familiar, then there’s a reason for that: it was No.1 at the U.S. box office for five weeks running in mid-2020, a remarkable achievement for a low-budget indie flick. Admittedly, it was one of the few films actually showing during that period, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but it’s still a sign that this is a film worth checking out....

Gilligan shared his thoughts on a Breaking Bad video game in the most recent episode of Inside the Gilliverse, a Breaking Bad podcast hosted by Eric Broadbent. Broadbent pointed out that Gilligan’s shows — down-to-earth crime dramas about charismatic criminals — share some characteristics with the Grand Theft Auto series. He asked Gilligan whether the Breaking Bad team had ever toyed with the idea of a video game adaptation. “There have been quite a few attempts at video games,” Gilligan explained....

The beloved comedy series was actually canceled way back in 2019, with a seventh and final season confirmed at the same time. However, a string of Covid-19 production problems plagued the filming of the final season of Grace and Frankie, which has significantly delayed fans getting to say their goodbyes to the pair. Netflix has made the decision to split the show’s final collection of episodes into two batches. The first four dropped on the streaming service in August 2021, and it’s been announced the remaining 12 episodes will hit the streamer on April 29....

How did we come to this conclusion? Well, we measure the average brightness and color quality of each laptop’s display using our in-house light meter and colorimeter. Brightness is measured in nits, while color accuracy is determined by the sRGB and DCI-P3 color gamut percentages. Delta-E values also help us determine color accuracy. Higher nits mean a brighter screen, while percentages closest to 100% are best for sRGB and DCI-P3....

Rae’s first TV baby, Insecure, which ended its five-season run on HBO in late December after earning multiple Emmy nominations (though outrageously none for the final season). For her follow-up, she moves the setting from south Los Angeles to Miami.
