Fresh off of saving the world (in Avengers: Endgame) and the multiverse (in Spider-Man: No Way Home), Stephen Strange has to deal with a universe-hopping situation that is far outside his normal purview. Of course, Wong (Benedict Wong) is here to help, as he’s the true Sorcerer Supreme. The pair are also aided by a new hero, America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez)....

Netflix announced this past week that it was picking up a third season of Girls5Eva, a terrific show about a one-hit wonder girls band from the turn of the Millennium — think Spice Girls, only less British and with less staying power — that’s trying to make a comeback in the present day. It’s got a great cast (Sara Bareilles, Busy Philipps, Renée Elise Goldsberry and national treasure Paula Pell), and it’s put together by the folks responsible for 30 Rock, so it’s great news that Netflix is bringing the show back....

Google officially announced the news in April, promising it would start rolling out that month. Now, a little behind schedule, it actually seems to be happening, as revealed by Google in a blog post (opens in new tab). It looks to be a useful feature. Rather than simply warning you that a route has tolls, and giving you the option to avoid them all, it will use information provided by toll providers to give you a rough idea of how much you’ll pay....

The Google Pixel 6a doesn’t go on sale for another month, but that hasn’t stopped recent links hinting at upcoming features we might see in the company’s budget phone. Fazli Halim (opens in new tab), a Malaysian YouTuber, has leaked a video of the Pixel 6a which shows its fingerprint scanner is much faster than the Google Pixel 6 Pro. This is definitely good news as the Pixel 6 series’ fingerprint was one of its biggest drawbacks....

According to Golden Reviewer (opens in new tab), a blogger on Twitter, the Pixel 7 Pro performs extremely poorly in gaming and fails to match this year’s flagship phones. The blogger published test results after playing Genshin Impact — a heavy duty open-world RPG game. They had all the graphics settings on “high” and enabled 60 fps in testing. The Pixel 7 Pro averaged just 37.2 fps in the blogger’s testing....

Android 12L is an upcoming Android 12 update that’s modified for better use with the best foldable phones and best tablets running Android. And in the new development version, beta 2, there are new illustrations to help users get accustomed to their new foldable, which look suspiciously like the rumored Pixel Fold. We can see in the animations a foldable with a SIM tray on the bottom edge and a prominent button on the right side opposite the hinge....
