First reported by Android Central (opens in new tab), MediaTek announced that it has developed not one, but two chips for the PS VR2. The primary system-on-a-chip (SoC) is for the display in the headset itself and then the other SoC goes in each of the controllers. Opting for two chips is interesting, as other VR headsets tend to use a single SoC. But two chips for one VR system could provide more processing for greater moment tracking and VR-centric features, especially since the PS VR 2’s controllers will make use of the same advanced haptics found in the DualSense controller....

That said, not every surprise appearance in Doctor Strange 2 actually landed with the same splash. The Galaxy Buds Pro is the most advanced of the bunch, but also the most expensive. “Our priority is to deliver the best mobile experience for consumers,” the company wrote in a statement. While the Game Optimizing Service was “designed to help game apps achieve a great performance while managing device temperature effectively,” Samsung promised a software update “soon” to give users more control over their device’s performance. The “game apps” distinction is important, because while the majority of affected titles are indeed games, the original report stated that the likes of Instagram, Netflix, TikTok and Microsoft Word were all impacted....

According to GSM Arena (opens in new tab), Samsung will offer 45W charging support for those two phones, having kept last year’s Galaxy S21 line at a disappointing 25W. That’s based on information from Denmark’s DEMKO, the country’s national certification body, which reportedly shows that the two biggest S22 models will get the upgrade but that the standard model won’t. Strangely, a previous leak from China’s 3C seemingly certified all three of the upcoming phones with 25W charging, begging the question of whether the devices will differ drastically across various regions....

In our testing, the 45W charger juiced our Galaxy S22 Ultra to 36% in 15 minutes and 67% in 30 minutes. That’s faster than a 25W charger with the same phone which hit 29% in 15 minutes and 58% in 30 minutes, but it’s not a dramatic difference. And we’re not alone in our findings. Phonearea (opens in new tab) has carried out some testing and found that the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s 5,000mAh battery takes 62 minutes to fully charge on the new 45W charger, whereas the 25W charger will juice up the battery in 70 minutes....

This time around, the Galaxy S23’s main color option will reportedly be gold/pink gold, the Galaxy S23 Plus’ pink and the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s green. Samsung will of course offer multiple colors for each model, likely with some crossover between the three of them. Plus, there will no doubt be a few extra exclusive colors if you’re willing to buy the phones from Samsung’s online store. But SamMobile claims these are the handset colors that Galaxy S23 advertising will focus on, so look out for those as more leaks appear in the next few weeks, or after launch....

Yes, less than a day after publishing some detailed Galaxy Z Fold 4 renders, the leaker OnLeaks (opens in new tab) has teamed up with 91Mobiles (opens in new tab) to give us an idea of what the Z Flip 4 could look like. And much like the earlier set, they show a phone that’s not substantially different from the previous year’s model. Based on the images here, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 looks to use the same design as the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, with an aluminum frame and glass front and back panels plus a power button-mounted fingerprint reader....
