The display on Google’s top flagship reportedly has a “sticky” and inconsistent scrolling experience for some owners. Users took to Reddit (opens in new tab) to report their new Pixel 7 Pro’s display and touchscreen problems. One said the touchscreen “constantly sticks on the backstroke of your finger when flicking to scroll. Not to mention the massive increase in keyboard fumbles when typing”. Other Pixel 7 Pro owners mention it feels inconsistent to scroll on the display of the phone — at some points it moves really fast....

Google’s latest device fixes many of the issues I had last year with the Pixel 6 Pro, including a faster fingerprint sensor and better anecdotal battery life. Google’s updated Tensor G2 silicon is yet another point in the Pixel 7 Pro’s favor. So says Bloomberg News (opens in new tab) in an unconfirmed (and paywalled) report that cites unnamed sources. The newly discovered bug, dubbed “Rolling-PWN”, has been detailed in a new blog post from Star-V Lab. In order to exploit it, though, an attacker would first need to wirelessly steal the codes from a Honda owner’s key fob. However, this can be done from almost 100 feet away. Once these codes are saved, they can be reused later to unlock older vehicles or to remotely start newer ones without an owner’s knowledge....
